DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN VARANASI

Arrive at Varanasi Airport. Meet your guide outside the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Upon arrival check in at 1400 hours and have some rest.

Later, get ready for the sightseeing of the day.

We will visit the SARNATH – A quiet and spiritual town set amidst the otherwise densely populated state of Uttar Pradesh, Sarnath is a city of historical marvels with numerous Buddhist stupas, museums, excavated ancient sites, and beautiful temples that prove to be a source of immense wonder and astonishment to tourists due to their mystical and serene setting. It is a world heritage site where Lord Buddha gave his first Sermon after attaining enlightenment.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance of the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Witness the beautifully choreographed rituals performed by priests, accompanied by the rhythmic chants, ringing bells, and the serene glow of oil lamps reflecting on the holy river. This awe-inspiring experience offers a profound connection to the sacred essence of Varanasi.

Drive back to the hotel.

DAY 2: SUNRISE BOAT TOUR

Wake up early and get ready for the SUNRISE BOAT TOUR on the Ganges (5 AM) – Embark on the amazing boat ride in Varanasi and start your morning with mesmerizing views of the sunrise · Enjoy the boat ride while passing through various ghats.

Enjoy the HERITAGE WALK in the narrow lanes of Varanasi. Also, visit to renowned KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE dedicated to the Lord Shiva and be amazed by its unique and beautiful architecture.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and have some rest.

Early evening, we will go for a tour of the SILK WEAVER’S COLONY OF VARANASI – Banarasi Silk is world-famous.

Walk through the weaver’s district of Varanasi and learn about the life of the weavers and the process of hand- weaving of the famous silk brocades and Banarasi sari. During this Varanasi Silk Tour, you will visit a few private residences of the weavers and get an opportunity to interact with them.

We will now explore and experience some local cuisines like Paan and Thandai.

DAY 3- CITY TOUR

Early Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a city tour of Varanasi.

Visit the beautiful DURGA MANDIR – The Durga Temple is believed to have been built by Bengali Maharani who was a devotee of Goddess Durga. The walls of the temple are stained red, and the premises are in close proximity to the Durga Kund. This temple depicts how the rulers built several markers of social, cultural and political identity to claim history and presence in this holy city.

BHARAT MATA MANDIR – The Bharat Mata temple is very different from traditional Hindu temples because rather than worshipping a deity, it glorifies the manifestation of the nation in the form of Bharat Mata. She is revered and worshipped by all regardless of their caste, creed, religion, or class.

Later we will visit the KAAL BHAIRAV – Kal Bhairav Temple is a beautiful ancient temple located in the holy city of Varanasi. This temple has a deep connection to the city’s history and culture. Bhairava (Kal Bhairav), a violent manifestation of Shiva, is worshiped there; he is shown with a garland of skulls and a weapon made of peacock feathers. The term “Kal” denotes both “death” and “time”. Kal Bhairav is also known as the one who takes away the fear of both death and time. Some say that even death itself turns away from Kal Bhairav.
